THE GTIP NUMBER (CUSTOMS CODE - NHM CODE) IS VERY IMPORTANT IN DETERMINING THE FREIGHT PRICE.
TARIFFS ARE DETERMINED ACCORDING TO NHM CODE IN EUROPE AND MIDDLE EASTERN COUNTRIES, AND ACCORDING TO ETSNG CODES IN CIS COUNTRIES.
EXPORT WAGON TRANSPORTATION FROM TURKEY TO CIS COUNTRIES
1- VIA MOLDOVA UNGENY STATION: TCDD wagons are sent to UNGENY/MOLDOVA station and transferred under supervision.
2- VIA IRAN: TCDD wagons cross Lake Van by railway ferry and are transferred in Iran.
WITHOUT WAGON-TO-WAGON TRANSFER:
1- VIA SAMSUN PORT: Transportation with Russian wagons via Kavkaz port.
2- VIA BULGARIA VARNA PORT: CIS wagons brought by ferry can be loaded in Halkali.
3- VIA DERINCE PORT: MPS wagons transported between Ilichevsk and Derince ports.
IMPORT-EXPORT BETWEEN TURKEY AND EUROPE: Railway wagon transportation is very suitable especially to Eastern Europe and Balkan countries.
UPM ORGANIZES TRANSPORTATION USING STATE RAILWAY WAGONS OR PRIVATE WAGONS IN THE COUNTRIES OF DEPARTURE.
